Keto Fudge Recipe - Easy Low Carb 5 Ingredient No Bake Desserts with cream cheese, butt

Keto Fudge Recipe

This Keto Fudge Recipe is quick, easy, has only 5 ingredients and makes a decadent low carb dessert treat.

You can make a batch of fudge ahead of time over the weekend and keto it in the fridge to enjoy through the week when sweet cravings strike.

Whisking the 5 ingredients dessert together

The fudge is really simple to make – start by melting the chocolate with the cream.

You can use whatever chocolate you usually include in your keto diet. Usually 85% or higher has the lowest sugar and carb count. (Like this one on Amazon.)

Set the melted chocolate aside to cool and then whisk together the butter, cream cheese and stevia until creamy.

Finally, whisk in the melted chocolate until you have a creamy fudge batter. Move the fudge to a lined, greased dish and then pop into the fridge for a few hours to harden.

This keto sweet bread is the perfect afternoon treat to enjoy with a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Or, it makes a comforting dessert to make while you’re home for days, weeks or months on end. (I’m looking a YOU 2020)

This bread is really easy to make – it’s simply a matter of melting the butter and then whisking through the other simple ingredients that are easy to find at a grocery store. (If you’re looking for another low carb bread, check out my easy keto bread recipe that’s the perfect ketogenic bread substitute.)

The best part is that whole thing comes together with minimal effort. You don’t even have to separate the egg yolks from the egg whites as you often have to do when making low carb breads.

The wet ingredients and dry ingredients are simply whisked together in a large bowl and then the whole loaf is baked to golden perfection.

For the sweetness element in the great recipe, you can use stevia, your sugar-free sweetener of choice or a brown sugar substitute like this one on Amazon that’s low in grams of carbs.

You can use whatever Keto friendly chocolate you include in your diet and chop it into chips to mix into the bread. Or, you could get include Keto chocolate chips instead. (Like these on Amazon.)

You can also sprinkle extra chocolate chips over the top of the bread for an even more indulgent best keto bread recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe – How to make easy no bake 4 ingredient low carb and sugar free truffle balls dessert – with the video. Perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s Day or as a treat for special occasions.

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe - How to make easy no bake 4 ingredient low carb and sugar free truffle balls dessert

Keto Chocolate Truffles

These keto chocolate truffles make an easy, decadent dessert treat that’s perfect for Christmas, Valentines Day or for all through the year when you’re craving a sweet treat.

The rich chocolate dessert makes a deliciously decadent, melt in the mouth creamy delight that will satisfy your sweet tooth craving.

Keto Truffle Ingredients

4 Ingredient truffle options

These low-carb truffles need only 4 ingredients, and below there are plenty of ideas for flavor inclusions and toppings:

Keto Chocolate – opt for 85% or 90% sugar-free chocolate or dark chocolate chips for the lowest carb and sugar content for your truffles. Lindt is always a luxurious option, but I’ve also made these with my go to ALDI 85% chocolate and they are just as divinely chocolatey, without too much added sugars.

Stevia – you can use your sugar alternatives or sweetener of choice, such as stevia or monk fruit sweetener, in this recipe. Start with less and add more to taste. If you’d like your truffles to be extra dark, then you can always leave out sweetness all together.

Butter – I usually opt for salted butter as it enhances the flavor and richness of the truffles.

Mixing ingredients together

Cream – use a high percentage of cream for extra creamy, delicately soft truffles, such as heavy cream, heavy whipping cream or double cream.

Swap the cream for coconut milk or coconut cream, use dairy free butter and chocolate for a chocolate truffle recipe that’s completely dairy free.

More Simple Ingredients Ideas

Sugar free truffle flavor and toppings ideas

You can keep the truffles simply chocolate flavored. Or, here are some ingredients you can choose from to flavor your low carb chocolate truffles recipe with.

You can mix the flavoring into the batter before going into the fridge. Go for 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon, depending on how strong you’d like the flavor to be:

  • Orange, lemon or lime zest
  • Sea salt
  • Vanilla extract
  • Raspberry flavor extract
  • Orange extract or lemon extract or essence
  • Rose water

You can leave the truffles without rolling or dipping into any further dusting, or you could fill a plate with one of the following options and roll your truffles in them for an extra indulgent layer:

  • Grated keto chocolates for added chocolate flavor
  • Finely chopped nuts
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • Shredded coconut
  • Melted chocolate coating
How to make keto truffles

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe

  • 3.5 ounces/100g Keto Chocolate
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Stevia
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  1. Chop or break up the unsweetened chocolate into small pieces and place it into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the stevia and butter to the chocolate.
  3. Pour the cream into a small saucepan and place it on the stove top over medium heat.
  4. Heat the cream until almost at simmering point, then remove from heat and quickly pour the hot cream over the large bowl with the chopped chocolate.
  5. Stir quickly so that the heat of the cream gently melts the chocolate and butter.
  6. Mix until you have a smooth chocolate mixture, then allow the chocolate ganache to cool completely. You can taste the mixture to ensure it’s sweet enough or mix through any flavoring you like, at this point.
  7. Once at room temperature, move the truffle mixture to the fridge for a few hours to harden.
  8. After a few hours, remove the bowl from the fridge, remove a teaspoon of the mixture at a time and roll into chocolate truffles.
  9. You can dip the truffles into grated chocolate, cocoa powder or your dipping of choice, place in a single layer on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper and enjoy.
  10. Store the homemade truffles in the fridge and enjoy within a few days. (If they last that long!)

Keto Platter Ideas

Keto Platter Ideas – How to make a low carb cheese and dessert nibbles plate – easy ketogenic party food idea – with the video.

Keto platter ideas - cheese and dessert

Keto Platter Ideas

A keto platter is an easy dessert or snack to prepare for a special treat, to enjoy over the weekend or to take to a potluck or as party food.

There really are so many options for low carb and keto friendly foods to choose from that you can create a plate full depending on your tastes, budget and dietary requirements.

Low carb keto food choices

You can even go to ALDI and pick from keto friendly foods there for a budget friendly dessert plate. (Here’s my full ALDI Keto Shopping List.)

Keto Cheese Platter Ideas

Keto cheese platter choices

I like to start with cheese and then fill the rest of the platter around it.

Choose a couple of cheeses – I like to go for a soft, hard and cheese for dipping for a variety of textures and flavors.

My supermarket had a deal where you could pick any 3 fancy cheese options for 10 Euro.

Here are some to choose from:

  • Brie
  • Camembert
  • Blue Cheese
  • Pecorino
  • Gruyere
  • Smoked Cheese
  • Gouda
  • Feta
  • Cheddar
  • Goats Cheese
  • Cream Cheese

Fruit

Low carb fruit choices

For the fruit section, choose from keto friendly berries including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.

Fruit adds color, sweetness, texture and flavor to your platter.

Nuts & Seeds

Nuts and seeds options for a low carb keto dessert platter

Add protein to your platter with a couple of handfuls of nuts and seeds. Here are some to choose from:

  • Cashews
  • Walnuts
  • Almonds
  • Hazelnuts
  • Brazil Nuts
  • Macadamia Nuts
  • Pine Nuts
  • Pecan Nuts
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Pumpkin Seeds

Keto Chocolate Choices

Low carb dessert platter with chocolate and cheese

Include a portion of decadent keto chocolate in your platter. I went for a few squares of ALDI 85% chocolate, but you could include any chocolate you usually enjoy in your diet.

So, to actually construct your plate full – pick an option or two from each category and fill a plate or board in an eye catching pattern.

Keto Pumpkin Brownies Recipe

Keto Pumpkin Brownies Recipe – Easy Flourless Low Carb, Sugar Free & Gluten Free Chocolate Brownie Dessert with pumpkin and coconut flour – plus the video.

Keto Pumpkin Brownies Recipe – Easy Flourless Low Carb Gluten Free Brownie Dessert

Keto Pumpkin Brownies

These keto pumpkin brownies are a decadent sweet treat to make during pumpkin season when you’re craving all things pumpkin.

They are dark, chocolatey and naturally sweetened thanks to the inclusion of pumpkin puree that has natural sugar flavor.

For the puree, you can use canned pumpkin puree – just make sure that it’s unsweetened. Or, make homemade pumpkin puree yourself by boiling or roasting pumpkin, allowing it to cool and then blend the sweet flesh to a puree in a food processor.

For the dark chocolate in the chocolate brownies, you can use whatever low carb, keto friendly chocolate you usually include in your keto diet. I find that 85%, 90% or higher tends to be the lowest in carbs and sugars.

You can break up a block of chocolate or use chocolate chips in the keto brownies.

If you’d like, you can add in a few tablespoons of cocoa powder or raw cacao powder for added chocolate flavor or swirl almond butter or peanut butter through the brownie batter for peanut butter swirl sugar free pumpkin brownies.

For spiced traditional brownies for the holiday season, add in a half a teaspoon to a teaspoon vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, pumpkin pie mix or pumpkin spice blend.

You can enjoy the ketogenic diet friendly flourless brownies as the perfect fall dessert topped with keto chocolate whipped cream frosting.

Keto Chocolate Ganache Recipe

August 6, 2020 by Easy Keto Living

Keto Chocolate Ganache Recipe – How to make the best easy low carb sugar free chocolate frosting for cake and cupcakes desserts with the video.

Keto Chocolate Ganache Recipe - How to make easy low carb sugar free chocolate frosting

Keto Chocolate Ganache Recipe

This keto chocolate ganache recipe makes a quick and easy frosting that’s low in net carbs and will please all chocolate lovers.

You can use the sugar-free ganache for frosting cakes like an indulgent chocolate cake (like this one) or to enjoy with a low carb friendly sweet treat, like as an indulgent dipping sauce for fresh raspberries or strawberries for a special day like Valentine’s Day.

Low Carb Frosting Ingredients

How to make low carb sugar free chocolate frosting

Here are the simple ingredients that you’ll need for this simple frosting:

Low Carb Chocolate – use an 85% or 90% chocolate bar or sugar-free chocolate chips so that the good ganache is keto friendly.

Unsalted Butter – he addition of butter provides a richness and texture to the ganache. You can feel free to swap the butter for coconut oil or cocoa butter if you’d prefer.

Stevia – use your low-carb sweetener of choice and as much as you’d like, depending on how sweet you want your chocolate ganache frosting to be.

Cream – only a little heavy cream is needed to bring creaminess, healthy fats and smooth texture to the frosting. You can swap the heavy whipping cream for coconut milk, almond milk or coconut cream if you’d prefer the chocolate sauce to be dairy free.

Easy keto chocolate ganache on a low carb cake

You can also add in a pinch of salt or half a teaspoon of vanilla extract to enhance the flavor of the end result.

You’ll find that the longer you leave the cooked easy chocolate ganache to cool at room temperature, the thicker it will become.

You can also move the cooled, smooth ganache to a piping bag to swirl indulgently over your chosen sweet treat.

So, it really depends on how you’ll be enjoying the best chocolate treat, whether you use the thinner ganache straight away at pouring consistency or wait a little bit longer for a thick, indulgent chocolate frosting.

If you’d like to adjust the texture, simply add a little cocoa powder to thicken or a little more cream to thin to more of a pouring consistency over ketogenic diet treats for a special occasion like a keto chocolate cake.

  • 1.76/50g ounces Low Carb Chocolate or Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 0.88/25g ounces Unsalted Butter
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Stevia
  • 3 teaspoons Cream
  1. Place all of the ingredients into a small saucepan.
  2. Move the saucepan to the stove top over medium heat.
  3. Gently heat the saucepan until the chocolate and butter have completely melted and you have a glossy rich chocolate ganache.
  4. Allow the warm ganache to cool and thicken at room temperature, then pour over a cake, chocolate cupcakes, ice cream or enjoy with a low carb friendly sweet treat, storing any leftovers in an airtight container.

Yes. This recipe doesn’t use ice cream. Frozen strawberries provide the cold, thick texture. Unsweetened almond milk helps create the right consistency without adding the carbohydrates found in traditional sweetened milkshake ingredients.

Keto Strawberry Milkshake Ingredients

Ingredients for keto smoothies and milkshakes

The 3 ingredients you’ll need are:

Frozen Strawberries – Frozen strawberries are ideal for this milkshake because they make the drink cold and thick without needing ice cream.

You can use anywhere from ½ to 1 cup depending on how strongly you want the strawberry flavour and how many carbohydrates you want to include.

Almond Milk – I use unsweetened almond milk because it keeps the milkshake relatively low in carbohydrates.

Make sure you choose an unsweetened variety, as sweetened almond milk can contain significantly more sugar.

Blending together low carb friendly milkshake with strawberries

Cream – any cream will do in this smoothie, it’s included to add creaminess and healthy fats.

Optional additions

Sugar-free chocolate – grated over the top for a chocolate-covered-strawberry variation.

Vanilla extract – adds extra flavour.

Stevia or another keto-friendly sweetener – if you prefer a sweeter milkshake.

Low carb protein powder – for additional protein.

Whipped cream – for serving.

Recommended Blender – If you’re using a blender regularly for smoothies and milkshakes, a personal blender such as a Nutribullet can be useful for quickly blending small quantities.

Strawberries for keto diet

What Makes This a Keto Milkshake?

Traditional milkshakes are often made with ice cream, milk and added sugar, which can make them relatively high in carbohydrates. This keto milkshake uses frozen strawberries, unsweetened almond milk and cream instead. Choosing unsweetened ingredients and controlling the amount of strawberries allows you to make a creamy low carb milkshake at home.

How to Make a Keto Milkshake

Making a keto milkshake is surprisingly simple. Instead of using traditional ice cream or a sugary milkshake mix, this recipe uses frozen strawberries, unsweetened almond milk and cream to create a cold and creamy drink.

  1. Add the ingredients: Place the frozen strawberries, unsweetened almond milk and cream into a blender.
  2. Blend: Blend until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if necessary.
  3. Serve: Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
  4. Add toppings: Top with whipped cream or a little grated sugar-free chocolate if desired.

The keto breakfast cookie recipe is a great way to enjoy a super quick ketogenic diet breakfast, especially on busy mornings.

Keto cookie dough

To make the cookies, simply combine together almonds and coconut in a bowl. It’s important to prep this to have ready for once you’ve melted the other healthy ingredients together.

You can swap the flaked almonds for any keto diet friendly nut or seed you like including almond meal, chopped walnuts or cashew nuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, hemp seeds or hemp hearts.

Then, melt together the peanut butter, stevia, cocoa powder and butter. You can feel free to swap the peanut butter for almond butter or another nut or seed butter, stevia for your sweetener of choice and butter for coconut oil if you’d prefer for the cookies to be dairy free.

How to make low carb cookies

To make the cookie dough, pour the peanut butter mixture over the nut mixture and stir until well combined.

You can make double chocolate cookies by folding keto friendly dark chocolate chips through the rest of the ingredients.

Then, it’s just a matter of dropping a tablespoon per cookie onto a greased cookie tray and place into the fridge overnight to harden. You can then simply grab a couple of low carb breakfast cookies to enjoy for an easy breakfast the next morning.

The cookies are loaded with healthy fats from the nuts, nut butter and butter or coconut oil, while being low in grams of net carbs, making them the perfect healthy breakfast, keto dessert or after dinner treat.
