Easy Keto Bread Recipe – How to make the best quick low carb coconut flour bread – with the video tutorial.

Easy keto bread recipe with coconut flour

Easy Keto Bread Recipe

This easy keto bread recipe is quick to prepare and is a brilliant low carb bread alternative.

The recipe is adapted from the side of a coconut flour package, the original recipe had raw honey which I switched for Stevia and coconut oil, which I usually switch for butter instead.

If you’d like the bread to be dairy free then stick to coconut oil, otherwise the choice is up to you.

How To Make Keto Bread

Ingredients for ketogenic bread

Making this bread is simple, start by preheating your oven to 180C/350F and lining a loaf tin with well greased baking paper.

Get out all of the ingredients to make the process quick and hassle free.

Melting butter

Melt the coconut oil or butter and then pour it into a large bowl. Whisk in the eggs until smooth.

Add in the stevia, salt, baking powder and arrowroot then whisk until fully incorporated.

Whisking in coconut flour

Finally, add in the coconut flour, a quarter of a cup at a time. It depends on the size of the eggs and absorbency of the particular brand of coconut flour – you’ll need 1/2 to 3/4 cup of coconut flour.

Move the bread batter to the prepared loaf tin and then place into the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.

Store in the fridge and enjoy with your low carb bread toppings of choice.

Keto Candied Walnuts Recipe - How to make easy low carb & sugar free roasted walnuts with cinnamon

Keto Candied Walnuts

These Keto Candied Walnuts make delicious sweet low-carb snacks, Festive treat or tasty topping for a salad.

Walnuts are one of the best keto nuts to include in your diet that are naturally low in g net carbs and high in g fiber, g protein and healthy fats.

The best part is that you can enjoy the easy keto snacks in a number of different ways, from snacking on them by the handful to using them as a topping for keto ice cream, smoothies or a healthy yogurt bowl.

The Simple Ingredients For The Easy Recipe

Ingredients for sweet keto snack

To make the perfect snack, you’ll need the following handful of ingredients that are all naturally low in grams of net carbs:

Walnuts – you can use sliced, chopped or halved walnuts. (Or really any healthy nuts you like in this ketogenic diet friendly recipe.)

Egg White – only an egg white is needed and gently whisked until foamy to help all of the ingredients stick to the walnuts, without the need for honey, maple syrup or other sugar loaded ingredient usually used in candied nuts.

I like to save the egg yolk in a separate bowl and use it in an omelette or scrambled eggs, so nothing is wasted.

Stevia – use stevia or your low carb keto sweetener of choice, such as monk fruit sweetener, that you usually include in keto desserts, and as little or as much as you’d like depending on how sweet you’d like your recipe to be to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Vanilla Extract & Pinch of Salt –  each a great addition to balance the flavors in the sweet treat.

Cinnamon – use 1/2 to 1 teaspoon, depending on how much of a rich cinnamon flavor you want with your delicious snack.

I’ve been making this Keto Russian Dressing every few days latey and enjoying it with a multitude of low carb meals.

As you’ll see, it’s quick and easy to throw together and can turn even the dullest piece of leftover meat or dreary bowl full of greens into a celebration meal!

Low Carb Sauce Ingredients

Keto sauce ingredients

These are the ingredients you’ll need for this sauce:

Sour Cream – is my creamy ingredient of choice, I love the tangy flavor and that I don’t have to worry about hidden sugars or carbs, as you sometimes do have to look out for with mayo. (You could swap for a low carb mayo if you’d prefer, if include 50/50 mayo and sour cream.)

Ketchup – find the lowest sugar tomato sauce you can to include in your sauce.

Paprika – to add a spicy, roasted flavor to the sauce.

Salt – I like to keep it simple with just a generous shake of salt.

Sauce topped with paprika

You can adapt the sauce and include your choice from a number of other keto friendly ingredients including:

  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped garlic
  • Garlic powder
  • Chilli sauce
  • Horseradish
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Lemon Juice
  • Chopped pickles

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe - How to make easy no bake 4 ingredient low carb and sugar free truffle balls dessert

Keto Chocolate Truffles

These keto chocolate truffles make an easy, decadent dessert treat that’s perfect for Christmas, Valentines Day or for all through the year when you’re craving a sweet treat.

The rich chocolate dessert makes a deliciously decadent, melt in the mouth creamy delight that will satisfy your sweet tooth craving.

Keto Truffle Ingredients

4 Ingredient truffle options

These low-carb truffles need only 4 ingredients, and below there are plenty of ideas for flavor inclusions and toppings:

Keto Chocolate – opt for 85% or 90% sugar-free chocolate or dark chocolate chips for the lowest carb and sugar content for your truffles. Lindt is always a luxurious option, but I’ve also made these with my go to ALDI 85% chocolate and they are just as divinely chocolatey, without too much added sugars.

Stevia – you can use your sugar alternatives or sweetener of choice, such as stevia or monk fruit sweetener, in this recipe. Start with less and add more to taste. If you’d like your truffles to be extra dark, then you can always leave out sweetness all together.

Butter – I usually opt for salted butter as it enhances the flavor and richness of the truffles.

Mixing ingredients together

Cream – use a high percentage of cream for extra creamy, delicately soft truffles, such as heavy cream, heavy whipping cream or double cream.

Swap the cream for coconut milk or coconut cream, use dairy free butter and chocolate for a chocolate truffle recipe that’s completely dairy free.

More Simple Ingredients Ideas

Sugar free truffle flavor and toppings ideas

You can keep the truffles simply chocolate flavored. Or, here are some ingredients you can choose from to flavor your low carb chocolate truffles recipe with.

You can mix the flavoring into the batter before going into the fridge. Go for 1/4 to 1/2 a teaspoon, depending on how strong you’d like the flavor to be:

  • Orange, lemon or lime zest
  • Sea salt
  • Vanilla extract
  • Raspberry flavor extract
  • Orange extract or lemon extract or essence
  • Rose water

You can leave the truffles without rolling or dipping into any further dusting, or you could fill a plate with one of the following options and roll your truffles in them for an extra indulgent layer:

  • Grated keto chocolates for added chocolate flavor
  • Finely chopped nuts
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
  • Shredded coconut
  • Melted chocolate coating
How to make keto truffles

Keto Chocolate Truffles Recipe

  • 3.5 ounces/100g Keto Chocolate
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Stevia
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  1. Chop or break up the unsweetened chocolate into small pieces and place it into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the stevia and butter to the chocolate.
  3. Pour the cream into a small saucepan and place it on the stove top over medium heat.
  4. Heat the cream until almost at simmering point, then remove from heat and quickly pour the hot cream over the large bowl with the chopped chocolate.
  5. Stir quickly so that the heat of the cream gently melts the chocolate and butter.
  6. Mix until you have a smooth chocolate mixture, then allow the chocolate ganache to cool completely. You can taste the mixture to ensure it’s sweet enough or mix through any flavoring you like, at this point.
  7. Once at room temperature, move the truffle mixture to the fridge for a few hours to harden.
  8. After a few hours, remove the bowl from the fridge, remove a teaspoon of the mixture at a time and roll into chocolate truffles.
  9. You can dip the truffles into grated chocolate, cocoa powder or your dipping of choice, place in a single layer on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper and enjoy.
  10. Store the homemade truffles in the fridge and enjoy within a few days. (If they last that long!)

Keto Platter Ideas

A keto platter is an easy dessert or snack to prepare for a special treat, to enjoy over the weekend or to take to a potluck or as party food.

There really are so many options for low carb and keto friendly foods to choose from that you can create a plate full depending on your tastes, budget and dietary requirements.

Low carb keto food choices

You can even go to ALDI and pick from keto friendly foods there for a budget friendly dessert plate. (Here’s my full ALDI Keto Shopping List.)

Keto Cheese Platter Ideas

Keto cheese platter choices

I like to start with cheese and then fill the rest of the platter around it.

Choose a couple of cheeses – I like to go for a soft, hard and cheese for dipping for a variety of textures and flavors.

My supermarket had a deal where you could pick any 3 fancy cheese options for 10 Euro.

Here are some to choose from:

  • Brie
  • Camembert
  • Blue Cheese
  • Pecorino
  • Gruyere
  • Smoked Cheese
  • Gouda
  • Feta
  • Cheddar
  • Goats Cheese
  • Cream Cheese

Fruit

Low carb fruit choices

For the fruit section, choose from keto friendly berries including strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries.

Fruit adds color, sweetness, texture and flavor to your platter.

Nuts & Seeds

Add protein to your platter with a couple of handfuls of nuts and seeds. Here are some to choose from:

  • Cashews
  • Walnuts
  • Almonds
  • Hazelnuts
  • Brazil Nuts
  • Macadamia Nuts
  • Pine Nuts
  • Pecan Nuts
  • Sunflower Seeds
  • Pumpkin Seeds

Keto Chocolate Choices

Low carb dessert platter with chocolate and cheese

Include a portion of decadent keto chocolate in your platter. I went for a few squares of ALDI 85% chocolate, but you could include any chocolate you usually enjoy in your diet.
